The unexpected often happens... One day Peter Räuchle, managing director of the specialist painting company Knodel GmbH, came to the premises for a short tour Sterneninsel. He just wanted to take a look at it because he couldn't imagine anything about an outpatient children's and youth hospice service. Afterwards he was so excited and touched that he quickly decided to paint the rooms with his team. Said and done! As if sent from heaven, it soon shone Sterneninsel in new splendor. The team was able to use the money saved for the necessary renovation Sterneninsel now accommodate them where they are needed most, in their hospice and bereaved families. In addition, through their special campaign, Mr. Räuchle and his employees helped to create a beautiful and pleasant atmosphere that the children, parents and employees of the Sterneninsel need to be able to deal with the difficult issues surrounding illness, dying and grief.
