Thanks to a great donor, we had the opportunity to go to the sanctuary for animals in Karlsruhe with children who are accompanied by us. Ducks, geese, chickens, rabbits, pigs, ponies, cats, goats... there was something for every taste. Equipped with rubber boots and appropriate clothing, we conquered the sanctuary.
There was a small guided tour and a farm quiz, animals could be petted, we were allowed to walk the ponies on a leash and as a special highlight we celebrated the birthday of one of our children with cake and pizza.
This day was filled with joy and emotions for everyone. The animals are spending the rest of their lives at the sanctuary and what that means is up to ours Sterneninselunderstand children very well.
